Our process kicks off with the felted hat-body, and from there, it's a hands-on journey. We block, shape, iron, sand, sew, and meticulously finish your hat with all the details. From start to finish, your hat is crafted by one of us – because we only make it once you order it. It's all about creating a hat that's uniquely yours! 🎩✨

We have three tiers for hat creations at the moment, pricing is based off of material used for the hat creation and can increase based on details and items used in its customization. The three tiers have a starting cost of $200, $350, $500.

The hat making process takes about 3 days to shape, mold, detail, and dry. Every hat is currently made to order, on average it takes approximately 6 weeks to produce a hat after purchased this includes a guided ordering process, sourcing materials, hat creation, and satisfaction review before shipment. This 6 week period also takes into consideration current projects in place.

In general yes. Any hats from rabbit or beaver felt can be re-sized. We host an option to re-design hats which may include resizing them. Additionally if you have purchased a hat from us you have the ability to resize it was well. A hat can be sized to be larger but it’s not possible to make it smaller. Additionally, depending on the on th size difference you may require a new sweatband to be sewn in. If you’re considering restoring and redesigning a vintage hat you may be limited in how large of an adjustment you can make.

Yes! We currently host private events in the Colorado area. Our “Traveling Tailor” will arrive with a mobile bar to display menus, styling options, colors, fabrics, and hat shapes. Measurement will be taken and guests will be guided through the menu and ordering process. Each guest experience is approximately 15 min in length and all orders will be completed in 6-8 weeks. There may also be limited options to shape and design hats on-site.
